Raj Kundra, the popular businessman and husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, has once again come into hot waters. This time around, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached his properties and cars worth Rs 97.79 crore in a money laundering case. This particular case from the ED highlights that Kundra has been involved in a cryptocurrency money laundering scheme. It has also been reported that the ED has seized his Porsche Cayenne SUV and Bentley Flying Spur sedan.
Raj Kundra’s Cars and Properties Attached by ED
The video explaining Raj Kundra’s entire money laundering case has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You. It starts by mentioning that recently, Shilpa Shetty was seen visiting Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house. The presenter states that she might have visited him with her mother to request his help for Raj Kundra with this new case.
It then continues, and he states that the ED has currently attached Raj Kundra’s Juhu flat along with other properties. These properties, as per the reports, have been attached under the PML (Prevention of Money Laundering) Act. The presenter then starts explaining the entire case.
Raj Kundra’s New Case
He starts by stating that back in 2017, two main accused of this case, Amir Bhardwaj and Mahendra Bhardwaj, started a crypto Ponzi scheme. These accused promised their investors a return of 10 percent each month.
They took these investments by forming multiple private limited firms. After this, the presenter mentions that these accused took the investments via Bitcoins as it is an untraceable currency. He added that in total, they managed to raise an investment of Rs 6600 crore.
Following this, it was revealed that these Bitcoins were then laundered by the main accused, Bhardwaj. The presenter then explains that the name of Raj Kundra was attached to this case as he received 285 Bitcoins to set up Bitcoin mining facilities in Ukraine.

The ED has then arrested a number of people related to this case. It has been reported that the ED has attached Raj Kundra’s properties with this case. His properties include their current residence in Juhu worth over Rs 80 crore and his Porsche Cayenne GTS SUV and Bentley Flying Spur sedan.
What Will Happen Next?
So if proven guilty, the ED will then seize all of these properties from Raj Kundra and auction them off. Following this, all of the people that have been duped will be compensated. At the moment, Raj Kundra is already out on bail. He was sent to Arthur Road Jail for two months because of a pornographic film racket case.

Raj Kundra is a very rich businessman, and he owns a number of luxury cars. As stated, the cars attached by the ED in this particular case are his Porsche Cayenne GTS SUV and Bentley Flying Spur.
Apart from these two cars, he also owns a yellow Lamborghini Urus and a white Range Rover Vogue from the previous generation. He also used to own a white Bentley Continental GT coupe from the previous generation as well. However, he has sold this luxury coupe, as per some reports.
