Tata Motors recently launched the brand-new 2023 Nexon facelift in India. The company, with this updated model, has changed almost everything from the outside as well as the inside. All-new exterior design
The first and foremost key change of the all-new Tata Nexon facelift is the complete overhaul of the exterior design. The front and rear of the car have been given a complete makeover. The front gets a new split-headlamp design and a brand new bumper. The rear gets a brand new design for the bumper and taillights as well. Additionally, the company has also given the car an all-new set of 16-inch aero alloy wheels.
All-LED lights
As mentioned, the company has given the new Nexon facelift a set of new all-LED front headlights and rear taillights. The headlights now sit vertically stacked deep in the front bumper, and the taillights have also been designed in a unique Y-shape. All of the exterior lights, including the DRLs, headlights, and taillights, are LEDs.
New 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment
Coming to the first and the biggest update on the interior is the all-new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system comes with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. It also is much bigger than the old screen and now gets the latest user interface from Tata Motors.
New full-digital instrument cluster
Apart from the new and bigger touchscreen infotainment screen, the new Nexon facelift also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. This new cluster also gets the latest user interface and modern graphics which will display all the essential driving metrics. This new screen will also show all the important details of the vehicle.
Two-spoke steering wheel
Tata Motors has given the 2023 Nexon a brand new interior layout, and one of the main highlights is the new 2-spoke steering wheel. The new steering looks minimalistic and boasts a classy gloss black look. It also gets all the controls for the touchscreen infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster.
Touch HVAC controls
Another one of the highlights of the new minimalistic interior is the Tata Motors proprietary touch-based HVAC controls for the automatic air conditioning system. This new panel lights up, presenting the controls for the system and gets only two physical toggle switches. These switches control the temperature and fan speed.
360 degree reverse camera
As part of the new list of convenience features, the new Nexon facelift now gets a 360-degree reverse camera. This feature is mostly seen in high-end cars and offers a 360-degree view of the car from the inside. This feature drastically increases the efficiency of parking without any damages.
Air Purifier
Next up, the company has also added a brand new air purifier system in the Nexon facelift. This system helps in eliminating harmful germs and bacteria from the air that comes through the air conditioning system, helping in achieving a clean atmosphere inside the cabin.
9-Speaker JBL sound system
As part of the new cabin, the Nexon facelift also gets a brand new 9-speaker JBL sound system. This system includes four tweeters and a subwoofer. This system is only available with the top-spec Fearless+S variant of the new model with the automatic transmission.
Ventilated front seats
Another new high-end creature comfort feature on the new Nexon facelift is the addition of ventilated front seats. This feature is also mostly seen in much more expensive cars. This helps in cooling the seats with constant blowing air. The leatherette seats of the car get perforations through which the air passes.
Height adjustable front passenger seat
The car also gets another important feature, which not many other sub-compact SUVs come with, and that is height-adjustable seats. Tata Motors is offering this feature with both front seats, which is rare in this segment.
6 Airbags
As part of the increased safety features of the new Nexon facelift, the car now gets 6 airbags as standard. Apart from this, the Nexon facelift also gets electronic stability program (ESP), ISOFIX child seat anchorages, hill-hold assist as standard. It also gets 3-point seatbelts for all passengers as part of its increased safety measures.
Front parking sensors
Another one of the new features added by the company is the addition of front parking sensors. These sensors, mounted on the front bumper, allow drivers to understand the position of the car with respect to the object or vehicle in front during parking.
New colors
With the all-new Nexon facelift, Tata Motors is also offering a variety of new color options. The new sub-compact SUV will come with color choices namely – Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Pure Grey, Flame Red, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White.
New dual clutch transmission
Last but not least, the company is now also offering the Tata Nexon facelift with an all-new dual-clutch transmission with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. The car also gets a 1.5-liter diesel engine with choices of 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, and 6-speed AMT.
